A 20x24 oil and enamel painting on wood panel. The silver is accented by etching it out with a wood burner and it is an original piece.

Oil and enamel on wood panel 20x24

  • The process for my oil paintings is quite extensive. I sketch out the work, then using a wood burner outline the entire thing, coating the painting in silver oil paint, I then let it dry. Filling in the colour and blending it. When it is completely dry I add an enamel to certain parts to add further drama.
